Where the world comes to celebrate.
Road Closures
The road closures apply only to the six Toronto match days and begin five hours before match time, with removal occurring up to three hours after match end. These adjustments reduce the number of available travel routes and will require travellers to re-route or adjust travel times where vehicle trips are unavoidable.
Strachan Avenue: Full closure on match days for up to 10 hours (KO-5hrs to FW+3hrs) between Lake Shore Blvd and East Liberty Street to limit traffic and facilitate pedestrian movement. However, two lanes on the east side between Lake Shore Blvd and Fleet Street will remain open for hospitality clients accessing the Enercare Centre parking lot. During egress, TPS may close Strachan Avenue from East Liberty Street to King Street if necessary.
As Strachan Avenue is a key cycling route connecting to the Martin Goodman Trail, minimizing closure duration is essential to reduce disruption while ensuring pedestrian safety.
Fleet Street: Full closure from Angelique Street to Strachan Avenue for the duration of the tournament to facilitate a dedicated streetcar platform for pick-up and drop-off of transit users.
Liberty Village: Restricted access to Local Traffic Only on match days for 10 hours (KO-5hrs to FW+3hrs). This includes East Liberty Street (from Dufferin Street to Strachan Avenue), Mowat Avenue, Fraser Avenue, Jefferson Avenue, and Atlantic Avenue.
Dufferin Street: Full closure from Springhurst Avenue to Saskatchewan Road on the match days for up to 10 hours (KO-5hrs to FW+3hrs) to facilitate transit and pedestrian movement, with Local Traffic Only from Springhurst Avenue to King Street during this period as well.
Lake Shore Boulevard West: Full closure on match days for up to 10 hours (KO-5hrs to FW+3hrs) from Bathurst Street to British Columbia Road to accommodate bus parking and access. East-west traffic will be redirected to the Gardiner Expressway or King Street West, and removing street parking on King Street West may be considered to prioritize streetcars and reduce congestion. Police officers will manage traffic flow on King Street, and Lake Shore Blvd will allow access for Constituent Groups and accessible parking as needed.
Fort York Boulevard (and residential area between Fort York and Fleet Street):
Restricted access to Local Traffic Only from Bathurst Street to Angelique Street for the duration of the tournament. This includes Fleet Street (from Angelique Street to Bathurst Street, Angelique Street, Gzowski Boulevard, Bastion Street, Grand Magazine Street, Iannuzzi Street, Bruyeres Mews, and Sloping Sky Mews.

Mile Map
Access to Liberty Village is limited to “Local Traffic Only” on match days. Driving is strongly discouraged.
The City of Toronto is prepared to keep people moving smoothly and safely. A coordinated team, including TTC, GO Transit, police and emergency service partners, will manage transportation and crowd movement in real time.
Street closures apply to both automobiles and bicycles. Cyclists must dismount and walk, a standard practice for major event road closures with high pedestrian volumes.
Toronto Police road closures checkpoints at Lakeshore West Boulevard, Dufferin & King St., Mowat Avenue, Fraser Avenue, Jefferson Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, and Strachan Avenue (Only people with permits will be allowed to pass).
Dufferin St, Bathurst St and parts of King St W will have parking restrictions in place to support RapidTO TTC movement.
Local access will be preserved for all commercial properties, businesses, and residents with clear signage and vehicle identification.
Loading zones may be crowded or unavailable due to extended on-street parking restrictions, affecting deliveries, couriers, and service vehicles.
On game days, the Lamport Stadium Green P parking lot will serve as the designated Taxi and Rideshare Pick-up and Drop-off location. The lot will not be available for pay-and-display parking from June 12th to July 2nd, but spaces will remain available for monthly permit holders only on non-game days.
Temporary one-way southbound on Fraser Ave. and northbound on Jefferson Ave. is recommended to support pick-up flow and provide northbound and westbound egress via King St.

Beyond the significant number of spectators travelling through the downtown core on the six match days and 22 Fan Zone™ Toronto operational days, several additional factors will contribute to increased congestion, including: Weekday afternoon and evening rush-hour travel, Toronto Blue Jays games that overlap with Toronto match days, Pride Festival, Taste of Italy, Community activities and events across the city
Portable variable-message signs, real-time traffic sensors, traffic agents, and route diversions will support real-time traffic flow.
Parking
During the tournament, parking will be limited, and there will be no designated regular parking for spectators.
Additional street parking restrictions will also be implemented in Liberty Village and within key downtown corridors on match days to support traffic management and traffic flow.
Exhibition Place Parking
There is no general parking available at event sites during the tournament, including no on-site parking at Toronto Stadium or the Fan Zone.
Accessible parking for match ticket holders must be pre-booked in advance and will be available near Toronto Stadium at Lot 851 during the tournament.
